Now I know many of you are going to point to virtual machines/virtualization software, BUT keep in mind that I NEED both OS to have their own partitions because I occasionally need to boot up XP just by itself (in non-virtual mode).
This means I can’t just install XP as a virtual machine under vista because it wouldn’t boot up by itself anymore, or would it?

Open Question: Why is my hard drive so full on my new windows vista laptop?
I just got a new laptop with windows vista my program files contain only 7 gigs my hard drive has 120gigs total and is portioned out to where i can only use 100 gigs for stuff and the system restore uses 20gigs i was wondering why i only have 34 gigs of free space when programs only take up 7gigs and users only contain 27gigs is there some way to clean up my hard drive i alread tried disk cleanup and disk defragment

so i have about a 5 year old black windows dell. it gets the blue scree of death occasionally, and runs really slowly. it has like no ram also, and probably a lot of viruses. it has two accounts to. i want to be able to”juke it up”

Open Question: I recently bought a dell insirion 9100 from and it is slow. how can I restore it to its original condition?
I bought it on ebay and it is very slow. Is there a command that I can do to restore it to it’s original factory condition.

Open Question: I Don’t Know What’s Wrong With My Laptops Sound?
Earlier on this evening I was on MSN Messenger and i accidently click on a video call and it said something about a sound card, which I egnored at the time. Later on I wanted to listen to some music on iTunes and it was saying there was a problem with my sound. When iTunes loaded the music wouldn’t play. So I went on You Tube and the music was playing fine, but i also found that my MSN Messenger wasn’t making the noises it normally makes when I receivee a message.
Can someone tell me what’s up with my laptop?

Open Question: System Restore, need help?
I did a few system restores on my Toshiba laptop, that did not go through so I manually shut the system down in the middle of second system restore. And now when I try to do it, it says system could not be restored. What can I do to resolve this issue? Thanks for any relevant advice.

Open Question: New laptop computer wont find Ipod USB?
I got a Vaio recently cos my other laptop crashed and is not accessible. whenever i put in my ipod usb it connects fine with itunes and makes the noise, but when i go to locate it on Computer, it isnt there, i have selected show hidden files! I have Vista Home Premium…..Please help ASAP

Open Question: Dell laptop wont turn on ?
I was using my computer and then all of a sudden it turned off and i couldn’t turn it back on so i waited a while and it turned on but a blue screen came up and said to restart the computer if i had never seen that message before so i did and it went and started and went to the main screen and the screen saver i had on there was gone and there was a message that asked if i had changed it to an image from a website and it also asked about restoing the laptop but i couldnt read it all because it shut off again and now it wont turn on but the power lights will light up i need help what do i do??
